The core essentials for apron planning and design

The PathPlanner A5 Base module is the mandatory foundation for every license. In addition to the trusted PathPlanner engine, this module contains a large library of commercial aircraft and standard design road vehicles. A user-friendly interface makes it easy to park an aircraft or simulate aircraft swept path movement, directly in any CAD drawing.

Aircraft and vehicle libraries

• 375+ commercial aircraft

• Standard design road vehicles from various countries including Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and the USA

Customized vehicle creation

• Create or modify vehicles and (semi-)trailers using the intuitive ‘Vehicle Manager’

• Create different vehicle combinations using the ‘Combination Manager’

Parking & track building

• Place static vehicles/aircraft (with nose gear + cockpit reference point) into a drawing to simulate parking

• Maneuver aircraft using oversteer function, resulting in the straight orientation of the object, i.e. for lining up at a gate or power out scenarios

• Reverse vehicles using main gear axis or rear axle as reference

• Build tracks manually without using existing lines (Manual)

• Build tracks with nose gear and cockpit tracking points

• Change objects in track to quickly produce multiple tracks

• Use pre-set aircraft steering angle or adjust to preferred angle

• Use fixed turning angle or specify with mouse

• Edit selected track segment including preview of changes

• View information relating to each simulation such as nose gear angle and travelled distance/time

Simulation, animation & plotting

• Immediately preview plot results for ease of use

• Display a vehicle a specific number of times during animated maneuvers
