Generate 3D objects or geographical features

The Obstacle Surface Planner Advanced module offers additional functions that provide for fast and reliable obstacle clearance organization, analysis and in-depth studies based on geographical input. These extended capabilities even allow users to assess user-defined obstacle clearances.

The Obstacle Surface Planner Advanced module includes all Obstacle Surface Planner Base module features, in addition to the following, amongst others:

Building & object creation

• Create 3D obstacles using the intuitive ‘Create buildings/objects’ command

• Import existing 3D models of objects from other CAD based programs

• Add or import images and geographical information (heightfields) based on topography or terrain

Obstacle limitation surfaces

• Assess obstacle clearance through the “OLS Object Intersection” mode to show object height at surface and/or amount of penetration

• Create an overview information table for all obstacles in the session

• Create 3D depictions of penetrating obstacles through 3D surfaces
