Obstacle Surface Planner™+ offers functions that provide for fast and reliable obstacle clearance organization, analysis and in-depth studies based on geographical input. These extended capabilities even allow users to assess user-defined obstacle and terrain clearances. 

 

Obstacle Surface Planner+ Software Package

Ensure maximum safety in all aircraft operations

Obstacle Surface Planner+ ensures compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, which in turn helps to ensure maximum safety in all aircraft operations.

 

The application effortlessly creates the various Obstacle Limitation/ Clearance Surfaces through a series of built-in algorithms and analyzes the impact on these surfaces of any obstacle or terrain data that has been defined or imported. The surfaces can be depicted based on either ICAO or FAA (several optional National Guideline packages are also available) standards in a 2D or 3D Autodesk® AutoCAD® environment, to allow for easy integration into an Airport Layout Plan, an airport’s obstacle map, or other types of software including GIS applications.
