On 6 November 2015, PathPlanner Airside was succeeded by AviPLAN™ Airside.

AviPLAN Airside carries on where its predecessors, PathPlanner Airside and AeroTURN® Pro, left off to deliver a unique feature-set tailored to meet the specific challenges faced by today’s airside planning, design and operations professionals. AviPLAN Airside’s functionality has been developed and refined over many years, and is the result of knowledge and input from in-house airport planning experts and developers as well as equipment manufacturers, airport operators and consultants from around the world.

Airside planning, design and operations essentials

Thanks to its user-friendly interfaces, intuitive workflow processes and extensive object library, PathPlanner™ Airside makes easy work of airside planning and design tasks ranging from analyzing the swept path movement or jet blast profile of a commercial airplane through to designing a contact or non-contact aircraft parking position.

PathPlanner Airside Software Package

Aircraft, vehicle maneuvering and Gate, stand design

2D aircraft or service vehicle turn analyses can be undertaken with ease with PathPlanner Airside. Conveniently switch between modes to construct new paths or follow existing drawing geometry, all with the help of the intuitive 'heads-up' display. With PathPlanner Airside the user is always in full control, and can generate detailed reports to prove the accuracy of results!

PathPlanner Airside is not only useful for visualizing swept path maneuvers, but also the often time-consuming and complex task of gate and remote stand design. An integral part of the software, these interfaces will guide users through the design process right from specifying apron and boarding bridge characteristics through to selecting aircraft and analyzing layouts. Simple, fast and accurate!

Feature Spotlight

Developed by airport planners, for airport planners

Since its initial development in conjunction with the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority, PathPlanner has been developed solely with the airport planner in mind. The culmination of in-house airport planning knowledge as well as feedback from experienced planners from all corners of the globe, PathPlanner Airside, together with all other PathPlanner products, are the only CAD-based airside design solutions available on the market that are truly designed by airport planners, for airport planners.

Complete airport layout projects in hours instead of weeks

PathPlanner Airside redefines the amount of time it takes to complete airside layout projects. Gone are the days of spending weeks completing apron plans or detailed gate designs and still having concerns about accuracy at the end of it. With PathPlanner Airside, tasks that previously took days can now be performed in a matter of hours, with the added advantage of a significantly lower risk of human error and the peace of mind that…

…if it can be simulated with PathPlanner Airside, it can be executed in reality.
