IMPORTANT NOTICE

On 6 November 2015, PathPlanner Airside+ was succeeded by AviPLAN™ Airside Pro.

AviPLAN Airside Pro carries on where its predecessors, PathPlanner Airside+ and AeroTURN® Pro 3D, left off to deliver a unique feature-set tailored to meet the specific challenges faced by today’s airside planning, design and operations professionals. AviPLAN Airside Pro’s functionality has been developed and refined over many years, and is the result of knowledge and input from in-house airport planning experts and developers as well as equipment manufacturers, airport operators and consultants from around the world.

Innovative features for 2D and 3D airside design

PathPlanner™ Airside+ is the ultimate solution for any engineer, architect, draftsperson or designer involved in the field of airside planning or operations.

Including a comprehensive 2D and 3D object library as well as functionality for simulating airplane and vehicle turn movements, designing ground markings, analyzing taxiway fillets, planning gates or stands, plus more, PathPlanner Airside+ is the number one choice for the vast majority of the world’s largest airports, aviation consultancy firms and Passenger Boarding Bridge manufacturers.

PathPlanner Airside+ Software Package

From CAD simulations to dynamic presentations

Fully integrated within the PathPlanner Airside+ comes a toolset which allows users to convert any analysis into a professional movie presentation. Ideal for adding credit to any pitch, illustrating capacity issues or emailing to someone without access to PathPlanner, the output from this dialog will speak for itself.

What’s more, with the all-new functionality for creating 3D presentations, the days of airport stakeholders having to interpret 2D CAD animations are now over! By utilizing any of the 150+ realistic 3D scale models, the task of visualizing complex technical results will no longer be as issue. 3D presentations, including camera transitions, can be created with just a few clicks of the mouse, and all without the requirement for additional software or add-ons!

Feature Spotlight

Design Tasks: Time and money savers

Developed in response to user needs, PathPlanner Airside+ now combines ICAO and FAA design regulations with its established, reliable path simulation algorithm to simplify the time-consuming process of taxiway fillet design.

The first of its kind on the market, this ‘Design Task’ directs users through the process of establishing taxiway dimensions, entrances and routes, before prompting the user to select those airplanes that are critical to the task. Once all parameters have been established, with the click of a button taxiway fillets can be designed and optimized, saving both labor and material costs.

Optimizing new or existing gates and stands

When utilising PathPlanner Airside+’s gate and stand planning tools, airport planning professionals will be able undertake tasks ranging from designing and optimizing a completely new gate layout through to analyzing an existing parking scenario in comparison with one enhanced by PathPlanner Airside+’s tools.

A wide variety of parameters such as apron and bridge slope, stop-bar positioning, fixed installations, airplane misparking and much more can all be factored into designs. Regardless of the nature of the task, the software will guide users through the design process, ensuring that no key aspect is overlooked.
