What will happen to PathPlanner 6 (Airside+, Airside, Turn+, Turn, Gate+, Gate)?

AviPLAN was launched on 7 November 2015 to succeed PathPlanner and AeroTURN.

The familiar team you have come to trust, now operating as the aviation business unit within Transoft Solutions, will continue to support both AviPLAN and PathPlanner, however no further updates will be released for PathPlanner. Instead, software and monthly library updates will be made available for AviPLAN.

I currently use PathPlanner. What will happen to my license if I move to AviPLAN?

If you move to AviPLAN, your PathPlanner license will be switched to a time-limited license, expiring on 31 October 2016. It will continue to operate as normal until this date, essentially meaning you will have double capacity from the date of AviPLAN authorization until 31 October 2016. If you complete the transition to AviPLAN in a timely manner, this should allow you sufficient time to familiarize yourself with the software.

Can I still renew my PathPlanner Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA)?

Maintenance Assurance Program (MAP) - formerly known as Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) - will be offered for AviPLAN licenses only.
